from here behind these tattered sails
salt crystal forming on my lashes
I find it nothing but astonishing
that the moon still has a pull
from here behind these tattered sails
salt crystal forming on my lashes
I find it nothing but astonishing
that the moon still has a pull

within your use of metaphor you somehow manage to draw together things “one would not” and make them work perfectly … you weave words so that they can be seen, heard or felt.

oh, gorgeous. I love that the sound of the words work so beautifully and the words “lash” and “pull.” Very nice. Thanks.

Sadness, brokeness, meloncholy, desperation. I’ve felt the weight of such aching in my life, and waves still break across me; I cannot dwell on such things lest they take me back under. Yet I still can’t help but empathize with others who are so burdened; the empathy is part of who I am and I am glad I have it. I extend my hope to then, just as I have hope for my own soul as well. Blessings…
